The Palestine Exchange (PEX) closed on Thursday at 492.52 points, inching down 0.12% or 0.61 points. The general index dropped 0.13% to 262.80 points.

On the sectors level, the investment, the insurance and the service indices dropped 0.57%, 0.39% and 0.13% respectively, whereas the banking and financial index gained 0.13%. The industry index stabilized at its previous level.

Trading volume reached 177.26 THD shares, at a turnover of $190 THD, traded through 60 transactions by 9 companies, of which two gained, six dropped and one remained unchanged.

The top two gainers were: Wataniya Palestine Mobile Telecommunications by 1.4% and Bank of Palestine by 0.36%. Whereas, the top three decliners were: Ahleia Insurance Group by 6.67%, Al Quds Bank by 1.1% and Arab Palestinian Investment Co by 0.92%.

Worth noting, Bank of Palestine and Palestine Telecommunications were the value leaders, upon generating $48.80 THD and $36.08 THD respectively.
